Bachelor of Arts in English
Program Description
Our English majors do more than study grammar and the literary tradition; we study all sorts of texts for the significance of individual and cultural expression in a global context. The new BA in English incorporates the study of history, geography, philosophy, and foreign languages to prepare students to read the world as it is today and how it will be tomorrow, not just as it has been in the past. Students are active as peer tutors and in Sigma Tau Delta, the international English honor society.
Admission Requirements
- Students must meet all requirements for admission to the university.
Degree Requirements
- Students must complete all of the requirements pertaining to baccalaureate degrees as specified in the General Catalog.
